See Norman Reedus in Trailer for VR Film ‘The Limit’
Currently IMAX, 3D and 4D films rule the roost, but Virtual Reality is an ever growing trend. Now, Norman Reedus is now a part of one of the newest VR movies.
Directed by Robert Rodriguez, The Limit, gives fans an immersive film experience that he says is “hard to even explain until you experience it.”
The story is told through Virtual reality technology where the viewer is thrust into an action film. Star Michelle Rodriguez is using a blade to cut somebody open, and you quickly realize that it’s you she’s cutting. You, the viewer are in the shows of an agent with a secret past. You enlist super assassin M-13 (Michelle Rodiguez) to attack the organization from which you came, winning back you identity.
Robert, who also just worked on Alita: The Battle Angel, describes VR to EW saying,
“It’s very different from a video game-type VR because it’s got the language of film, it’s got the grain of film. It looks like a film, it sounds like a film, but now suddenly, magically you’re in the film.”
The best part is that The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus appears in the 20 minute long movie wearing a bionic arm. They defend himself from bullets and can take you down.
