The press tour for Avengers: Infinity War has officially kicked off with the UK screening last weekend. Since then, we’ve received some new interview responses and footage from names like Tom Holland, Paul Bettany, and Sebastian Stan.
While we’re not getting any movie spoilers – thanks to Thanos’ demand for silence and a cast that doesn’t know much themselves – we are hearing some cool feedback from our favorite stars.
Sebastian Stan was asked, in an interview with Bad Taste, about the humor in Marvel. Specifically where James Gunn and Taika Waititi are concerned.
‘First of all, I LOVE Taika Waititi. I mean, he kills me. And I mean, he REALLY kills me. In Thor there were so many funny moments … I’d love that.’
‘I think that personally, I’m much more attracted to dark humor. It’s a bit more offbeat, and that’s what I, Tonya was. The Russos understand that they have a background in that as well. I’m just not sure if I could be funny in one of those other situations. But for me as a viewer, I love all of them. Chris Pratt has that’s very … he’s so nice and so charming. Not many people can do that. But I really enjoy watching those as a viewer.’
We think Stan would pull off humor well, especially in the role of Bucky. His dry humor and interaction with Falcon prove that he’s got a side to him that we’ve not yet seen. However, we’d like to know what happened to him in the ‘lost years’ as well.
You can see Sebastian Stan in Avengers: Infinity War on April 27th.
