Promo season for Avengers: Infinity War has officially kicked off and interview snippets are making their way around social media. With the UK screening in the books and others on the horizon, we’re learning the last bits of information about the movie before we’re thrown into turmoil when we take our seats in theaters.
Just days ago, the Russo brothers took to social media with the hashtag #ThanosDemandsYourSilence. It stands as a play on the villain and making sure no secrets from the film make it around the internet. Fans, as well as the cast and crew, have been waiting for this movie for some time now. Everyone deserves to really get to see it for the first time.
There are, however, some questions that can be answered.
In an interview with Bad Taste, Sebastian Stan discussed why he would be a great addition to a Black Widow solo movie. In terms of Natasha’s history, for a very distinct time, Bucky was a massive part of that. It would make sense that he’d have an impact on a Black Widow solo film.
‘They have a very nice history in my opinion. It’s very intricate. He was a teacher to her in the comics. It’s all set during a specific, interesting time. The Cold War. It’s all very … spy, thrillerish, noirish story … it would be very interesting to explore that on film. I would love if they do that. You know, I hope. Maybe they will.’
He also agreed with the interviewer that Infinity War isn’t the place to explore the dynamic between Bucky and Natasha. While we absolutely understand that sentiment, we do hope to see more of their story in the future.
Until then, we’ll see both Bucky and Black Widow in Infinity War. Even if it’s just to fight against Thanos together.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27th.
