Things got a little strange on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con and we mean flash back to 1984, Demogorgon, Eggos and alternate upside down universe type strange!

On Saturday, the cast of Netflix’s mega retro hit Stranger Things took the stage for their panel.  The entire cast was in attendance including Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, David Harbour, Matthew Modine, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, and season 2 new additions Sadie Sink, Paul Reiser and Dacre Montgomery.  Additionally, executive producer Shawn Levy and Matt and Ross Duffer, aka The Duffer Brothers were on the stage.

The panel revealed a highly anticipated brand new look at the upcoming second season of the series.  Check it out:

We know that the second season will pick up about a year after where the first season leaves off.  Will (Noah Schnapp) is seeing mysterious flashbacks to images from the Upside Down and he’s having some difficulty separating them from his reality.  Will’s mom, Joyce (Winona Ryder) is doing her best to keep everything normal for him but, at the same time, she has started dating an old high school classmate (Astin).  In an effort to protect Joyce, Will and the kids, Sheriff Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is doing whatever he can to keep the crazy events they’ve all just experienced on the down low. But, perhaps the most interesting plot line of them all is that we will get to learn about Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) back story.

Earlier this month, Netflix released a teaser which gave fans the official release date for the series as well as a description of what’s to come in season two:

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived,”

We can’t wait to see what happens next!  Stranger Things season 2 will be returning to Netflix on October 27th (conveniently a Friday so you can binge through all the episodes before you go trick-or-treating).
