SDCC: See the Intense Trailer for Marvel’s ‘The Gifted’

‘You never know you’re a mutant until it happens the first time, on this day everything changes.’

SDCC is on fire right now with premieres, trailers, and panels full of information about the biggest television shows and films in pop culture. One of the most anticipated new series’ is The Gifted, coming to FOX Monday, October 2nd.

The series, starring Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Cody Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Percy Hynes White follows two children who realize their mutant abilities in times of stress and struggle, and how close they are to a man who’s job is to put them away.

That man is their father, but once he understands that the mutant children are his own, his family goes on the run to join other mutants on their mission to simply survive.

At SDCC, a new trailer for The Gifted was released and it has us looking even more forward to the series than we were before. The actors look like they’ve taken the time to study their characters, the storyline is incredible, and there’s enough of a mix of action and ‘realism’ to make it a series you can keep watching. At least, that’s what we’re hoping for.
