Check out the new SDCC Exclusive He-Man Action Figure
Super7 just unveiled their exclusive collectibles for 2018 which include several pieces of merchandise for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The highlight of the figures is arguably the ”Laughing Prince Adam” figure which molds the character after the singing He-Man meme.
The video of Prince Adam/He-Man on a sparkly rainbow background singing along to 4 Non-Blonde’s “What’s Up” has become very popular over the last decade.
It has almost become a new sort of Rick roll and it is surprisingly intriguing to have it translated into an action figure. Of course, He-Man has a pink power sword and all this is packaged inside a glittery rainbow box. this action figure is just one of the awesome things we least expected that is tied to the Masters of the Universe world.
With the characters being the inspiration behind everything from Dirty Dancing-inspired commercials, to elevator ads and detailed comics, it is obvious that the franchise is making an effort to come into the modern era, maybe in the form of a live-action Masters of the Universe film.
There has been a reboot of Masters of the Universe in the works since 2007 but the project has been trapped in production development issues severally. While it’s uncertain whether the project will meet its official release date in 2019, fans are eager to see what is going to be next from this franchise.
Until then, you can get your hands on this exclusive figure if you’re heading to San Diego Comic Con this year!
