SDCC 2019: Here’s Everything That Was Announced at Marvel’s Hall H Panel

On Saturday evening, Marvel head Kevin Feige took to the stage in San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H. The panel kicked off right from the start with major MCU updates.
First, Feige announced that in just a few days, Avengers: Endgame will officially take over the spot from Avatar becoming the biggest film of all time. It’s a monstrous accomplishment, but Marvel isn’t stopping there. Feige then went on to announce plans for the upcoming Phase 4 kicking off with a confirmed Eternals film.
The Eternals
The cast for The Eternals took the stage including Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Angelina Jolie.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Feige then moved on to talk about the upcoming Disney + streaming network. He officially announced that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is a-go for Fall 2020. Stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were on hand to help Feige deliver the announcement. The series will also star Daniel Bruhl.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Next up, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings announced its leading cast, Simu Liu, Tony Leung, and Awkwafina. The film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and will hit theaters in February 2021.

WandaVision
Coming to Disney+ next spring, WandaVision will be another original series from the studio following Scarlet Witch and Vision. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their MCU roles.

Loki
Another Disney+ addition coming next spring is the Loki series. Tom Hiddleston will reprise his MCU role, and the series will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Hiddleston was on hand in Hall H for the announcement. He’s pumped for the series.

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Benedict Cumberbatch is returning for another Doctor Strange film. Director Scott Derrickson teased the crowd that the film will be the first scary Marvel film. Elizabeth Olsen will be joining Cumberbatch, and the film will hit theaters in May 2021.

What If…?
What If…? will be an animated series featuring a star-studded cast of character from all over the MCU films. Jeffrey Wright will be joining the production voicing the role of the Watcher. The series will be on Disney+ Summer 2021.

Hawkeye
Jeremy Renner entered the stage running through the crowd to announce a Hawkeye series coming to Disney+ in Fall 2021.

Thor: Love and Thunder
The dude is back! Thor 4 was confirmed earlier this month, but the official title has just been revealed. Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and director Taika Waititi were on hand to celebrate the news. Additionally, Natalie Portman will be returning as as female Thor! The film will hit theaters in November 2021.

Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson reprises her MCU role in the upcoming Black Widow film. Johansson was on hand for the announcement along with the rest of the cast. The cast includes David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenie and Rachel Weisz. Attendees at Hall H got a sneak peek at the film, which will address Budapest! The film will hit theaters in May 2020!

Marvel’s monster panel concluded with all of Phase 4 standing together on stage for a giant MCU photo op. But there was still one surprise left! Mahershala Ali joined the group on stage to announce and upcoming Blade film!

With so many exciting announcements tonight, Kevin Feige still teased even more, like Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2 and a Fantastic Four film. The Marvel Cinematic Universe shows no signs of slowing down, and Disney+ will surely take the studio to new heights!
