When photos surfaced of Chris Pine as ’80’s Steve Trevor, questions about his fate exploded on the internet and with Kristen Wiig’s first-look at Cheetah coming shortly after, fans were hoping to get some more exclusive content out of the Warner Bros. Saturday afternoon panel and they were in luck! The panel previewed two short clips, one of which showed Gal Gadot as Diana Prince doing her thing at a mall in what was apparently a superb ’80s vibe.

Director Patty Jenkins talked about her vision for the highly-anticipated sequel.

And was pretty coy when it came to those Steve Trevor photos.

Chris Pine also spoke about how easy it was him for play Steve Trevor, mainly thanks to Gal Gadot.

2017’s Wonder Woman found Steve Trevor’s (Chris Pine) plane crashing on Diana Prince’s (Gal Gadot) island nation of Themyscira where he explained to her the conflicts of the outside world, leading the Amazonian warrior to leave her home to stop the threat and help to fight the war to end all wars. Of course, along the way she discovered her true powers and destiny. The film was praised by critics and audiences, grossing over $800 million worldwide at the box-office and quickly received a sequel order. Gadot also appeared in Justice League later that year with Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, and Ezra Miller.

Wonder Woman 1984 is once again being directed by Patty Jenkins who led the 2017 film to become one of the best-reviewed DCEU films and became the best opening weekend from a female filmmaker and the highest-grossing live-action film directed by a woman.

Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters on November 1, 2019!
