He views the rise of metas as an epidemic and seeks to exterminate them one by one.” In the DC comics, Cicada makes it his mission to murder everyone that The Flash saves using his signature lightning bolt dagger that he received after being struck during a thunderstorm.

Season 4 of The Flash found Barry and Iris learning that they had a speedster daughter from the future named Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Caitlin learning she was a metahuman before the particle accelerator explosion. There are some exciting things happening behind the camera in season 5 as well including Danielle Panabaker directing an episode and the show is hitting a milestone of 100 episodes. The 100th episode will serve as the midseason finale and be directed by series star Tom Cavanaugh.

Klein is best known for his role in the American Pie franchise as Chris “Oz” Ostreicher, but he has also guest-starred on shows such as Wilfred, Franklin & Bash, Raising Hope, The Grinder, and Idiotsitter.

The Flash season 5 premiere will air on Tuesday, October 9 at 8:00 pm EST.
