Scott Wilson says he Learned from his Cast Mates on ‘The Walking Dead’

If you’re anything like us, you’re feeling a bit nostalgic right now thinking that this time last week, we were in Atlanta celebrating 5 years of Walker Stalker Con. The panels, the celebrities, and the fans make the weekend something unforgettable for all of us.

One of those panels was the OG set up with Jon Bernthal, IronE Singleton, and Scott Wilson. While their characters may not grace our screens anymore, they’re still some of the most important to the series as a whole.

There were many fan questions asked during the panel, but one of the most heartwarming ones was pointed at Scott Wilson. He was asked what he taught the ‘young guys’ on set.

‘No no, I learned from these guys’, Scott started out before following up with a piece of advice he’d been given early on. When it comes to taking on a role, there are three things you should consider, and if you’ve got two of them, you’re set.

Scott says The Walking Dead has all three things, so taking the job was something he didn’t hesitate on, and we’re so glad. We don’t think there’s another person who would have played the role of Hershel with the compassion that Scott did.

We feel the most privileged, because we got to learn from all of them, and we still are. Did you see this panel at Walker Stalker? What was your favorite part? Let us know.
