There are several theories revolving around the possibility of doppelgängers. These theories, in most cases, claim every single person has an identical, look-alike double (or sometimes several look-alikes) living somewhere in the world. If true, could you imagine how freaky it would be to actually find your doppelgänger and meet, face to face?
The Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson has found her double! Take a look at the photo below from Imgur. The pic was originally posted last week by Reddit user denverjoel and show an old photo of his 72-year-old grandmother Geraldine taken when she was 22. You have to admit, Grandma Geraldine is pretty much a drop-dead ringer for Johannson. The resemblance is uncanny!
Grandma Geraldine looks SO much like Johansson, in fact, that Scarlett herself has gotten wind of the photo and took it upon herself to respond with an awesome proposal. Johansson sent a video reaching out to the grandmother, asking if they could grab a drink because, well, they are pretty much the same person! In the video, Johansson says:
“This video is for grandma Geraldine. Geraldine, I cannot tell you, I have been absolutely inundated with emails and messages about how much we look alike. And I had to look at the photo myself. Holy crap. I saw that you were, quote, ‘drunk as a skunk’ when taking that photo, and I would like to see your drunk face. I want to share a drunk face with you. Let’s have a drink, Geraldine.”
Check out the video below:
How awesome is Scarlett Johansson!? Hopefully, Grandma Geraldine is ready to hang out with her celebrity doppelgänger while knocking a few back.
