There really isn’t anything that screams 90’s more than Saved by the Bell reruns.  That is, until now.  On June 1st, a new dining experience opened in Chicago that is sure to take you back to the retro decade.

The new pop-up diner, called Saved by the Max, opened up on Wednesday and, it is modeled after The Max hang out from the Saved by the Bell series.  Now, you can eat, chill and hang out where Zack, Kelly, Slater, Jessie, Screech and Lisa all lived out their Bayside High days.

The menu offers up items inspired by 90’s sitcom including the Bayside Burger, Preppy BLT, AC Sliders and Mac and Screech.

Even Max himself, actor Ed Alonzo, was on hand via video recording to announce the restaurant’s opening.

The creator of the pop-up diner, Derek Berry said in a press release:

“After just one meeting I knew that this space was perfect for us.  We needed a place that would allow fans to feel as if they’ve been transported back to Bayside and are fully immersed in the universe of the show. The final look of the space is going to be a dream come true and deliver the grand slam nostalgic experience everyone has been waiting for.”

The diner will only be open through August 31st so, check out their website and head on out to the Windy City as soon as possible to enjoy this retro restaurant.  We wonder if Hot Sundae will perform?
