Netflix’s smash-hit suspense flick Bird Box is breaking viewing records for the streaming service. In its first week alone, Netflix revealed that over 45 million accounts watched the film during its first seven days on the platform, making it the best opening week ever for a Netflix film. There is, however, at least one person who has not yet taken off their blindfold. Despite appearing in the film, actress Sarah Paulson recently revealed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert that she has not yet seen the movie.

During her interview with Colbert, they discussed Paulson’s many successful projects including American Crime StoryAmerican Horror StoryGlass, and of course, Bird Box, most of which she says she’s never seen. It’s not uncommon for actors to not watch their own work. The Walking Dead‘s Andrew Lincoln, for example, only just watched his first episode after appearing in the series for nine seasons, but with Bird Box specifically being as widely viewed as it has been, one would think Paulson would want to see the finished product. Paulson admits, “I’m the one person on the planet who hasn’t seen it,” speaking about her role in Bird Box. She goes on to clarify, “I don’t watch anything I do ever. Not since People vs. OJ.”

Check out the full interview below.

Bird Box stars Sandra Bullock leading an all-star cast which includes Trevante Rhodes, and John Malkovich in addition to Paulson. The synopsis for the film reads as follows, “When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope, and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they’ll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded.”

Bird Box is currently streaming on Netflix.
