Last night at the 74th Golden Globes, Ryan Gosling accepted the award for his performance in La La Land. We LOVE Ryan Gosling. And people, his performance in the love musical isn’t the only thing melting our hearts.
Gosling first expressed his shock that he won instead of Ryan Reynolds, and also said he wishes he could split it into three for Emma Stone and the director of La La Land. dedicated most of his speech to his wife, Eva Mendes, who he says held down the fort at home while he works on the best, most fun experience of his entire career. He thanked her for caring for their children while her brother was sick. Gosling also thanked her brother, Carlos Mendez, who has since passed away from cancer.
This is a guy who has his priorities straight!
See his full speech below, we promise you will be swooning!
