The Fun Story Of Why Rose Leslie Stopped Talking To Kit Harington

Do you remember when you were a child and you did something wrong and you would tell your parents and throw the phrase “you promise you won’t get mad” at them, hoping that your parents would keep their end of the bargain when they said “yes, I promise”.

What fools we were.

Well, it appear Kit Harington never received that memo. Poor guy, he really does know nothing.

After talking to KISS FM on Friday morning, Kit revealed that he made the mistake of telling his wife, former Game of Thrones actress Rose Leslie, the ending to the hit HBO show… at her request.

“I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days,”

“And she’d asked!”

According to Kit, Leslie stopped talking to him after he revealed not only his characters fate, but the fate of every other living character in Game of Thrones. Of course, Rose Leslie is known for playing Jon Snow’s love interest, Ygritte, who met her demise at the hands of Olly who shot her with an arrow.

You can’t help but feel sorry for Kit in this situation.

At this moment, it’s quite hard whether to feel happy or sad about the show ending. Not only have we had an amazing journey watching our favourite characters grow and develop through the years with the promise of a spectacular finale, but it also means no more Game of Thrones- Until the spin offs of course. Indeed, Kit feels very much the same adding:

“I don’t think it’s about happy or sad, really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it.”

What’s heart breaking is what the showrunners wrote at the bottom of the final script. when Kit spoke to Entertainment Weekly, he revealed that for the last script of each season the showrunners would write “End of Season 1” or “End of Season 2” at the bottom. For the final script, they simply added “End of Game of Thrones”.

Ouch.

Here’s a fun question for you. If you knew the ending of Game of Thrones would you tell your friend if they asked?

The final season is set to premiere on April 14th.
