#RockTheDots…Minnie Mouse Gets Her Star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. WATCH LIVE!

You heard that right Mouseketeers! Today, Minnie will be presented with her very own star on Hollywood’s iconic Walk of Fame. This year marks her 90th Anniversary in the entertainment business and what better way to honor her.
Today’s ceremony will begin at 11:30 am PST. For those that are not in the area but don’t want to miss it, you can watch Variety’s live stream below or by going to the Walk of Fame’s official website www.walkoffame.com.
Disney’s favorite leading lady’s star will be the 2,627th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and will be located at 6834 Hollywood Blvd., right in front of the El Capitan Theatre.
The ceremony’s emcee will be Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, President/CEO Leron Gubler. Guest speakers will be CEO/Chairman of The Walt Disney Company Robert A. Iger and pop icon Katy Perry.

Making her debut in the Disney classic, Steamboat Willie, Minnie soon became a favorite and has remained America’s sweetheart for many decades. She has appeared in 70+ films and has also become a fashion icon. Who doesn’t see polka dots and think immediately of Minnie Mouse?
Minnie joins her fellow Disney characters Mickey, Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, Snow White and Kermit the Frog who all have Stars on the Walk of Fame.
