Is Riverdale safe with FP as the sheriff? We’ll see.
No one has seen the Man in Black recently and they are starting to talk. Veronica is getting desperate, so she hires Jughead to find out who shot her father. She admits to him that her mother is a suspect. Apparently, Hiram has been having an affair.
While Jughead is tracking the mistress, Betty is back at Hal’s cell asking how to pin Penelope for all of the murders. There was no autopsy report for Claudius so Betty looks into Clifford’s. Clifford was poisoned (like everyone else) and he was dead before he hung himself. Unfortunately, Penelope has an alibi for the deaths. Or does she? Penelope, an herbalist, reveals that she only killed men and that Betty should thank her for offing Claudius as he was working with Hiram and the runoff from the Fizzle Rocks went into the water which caused the seizures. The mistress covered up this fact.
Hermione has been having an affair of her own, with Sheriff Minetta… Jughead overhears them talking about framing FP for Hiram’s death and goes to warn his father. FP shot Hiram last episode because Hermione paid him to. FP, using Alice’s journalistic talents, blames Tall Boy for the shooting to trick Hermione and clear his name. Hermione kills Minetta to tie up loose ends while Reggie and Veronica destroy the Fizzle Rocks equipment.
Archie is still angry. Very angry. He’s making a scene everywhere he goes. Thank god for Josie. Too bad he takes her advice the wrong way… He goes to to the hospital to kill Hiram. Instead, he saves Hiram. A life for a life.
Betty goes back to her father to think out loud. Maybe not every murderer is guilty and not every victim is innocent.
This episode was another good one. They always keep me on my toes and this time we got a lot of answers! That being said, I still have questions. Kelly Ripa was wonderfully evil in her role, but what I want to know is what is up with that Glamergé egg? Also, Reggie’s facial features are so chiseled, I can’t take it! Have you seen them? Next week’s episode promises even more adventure and I am here for it!
