You can all stop with the crazy theorie you had about Rey’s parents being in The Force Awakens. J.J. Abrams just said something that threw out a lot of theorie. There was an Q&A at the Tribeca Film Festival where he avoided the question “who are Rey’s parents?” perfectly.

We now know that they are not in The Force Awakens. “Rey’s parents are not in Episode VII. So I can’t possibly say in this moment who they are. But I will say it is something that Rey thinks about, too.” Soon he continued by telling them, he actually knows who they are, but he won’t say anything about it.
“Obviously it’s not for me to talk about in this moment because this is [Episode VIII director] Rian [Johnson]’s story to continue now,” Abrams continued. “The last thing I’m going to do is reveal something that he would be upset about. I want to make sure that Rian gets the courtesy that he showed me.”
whoever it may be, it will be one awesome episode for sure! Star Wars: Episode III will come out in theatres on December 15, 2017.
