The cast of Criminal Minds is undergoing yet another massive change as a main actor announced his departure via social media this weekend. As the series has bid farewell to some of the main cast members over the last few seasons, it gained one in the form of Agent Steven Walker just last year. Damon Gupton played the role and he was a series regular in season 12.
The news first broke when Damon tweeted in response to a motivational message sent by Tyvis Powell.
wanted to let you know I appreciate this as I just lost my job. You throwing out the 1st pitch is pure class and a monumental image.

EW reports that Damon’s exit comes as both Kirsten Vangsness and A.J. Cook are looking for equal pay salary compared to their co-stars Matthew Gray Gubler and Joe Mantegna are making. A.J and Kristen have been with the series since it’s launch in 2005.

One of the main storylines in season 12 was that of Spencer Reid and it was one of the darkest that we’ve experienced so far. Fans will be glad to see the return of the series with season 13 and hopefully get answers to some of the unanswered questions.
Fans will be glad to see the return of the series with season 13 and hopefully get answers to some of the unanswered questions like who survives, who doesn’t make it out alive, and what lasting changes the characters we’ve grown to love face, after all is said and done.
