Malcolm’s night terrors aren’t getting better. His therapist believes that they are coming because he is neglecting his primal feelings. Luckily, he runs into Eve and they have a date.
David Saverstein’s skull was bashed in, a crime of passion. Was David having an affair? Oh, wait, that’s not David, who is the dead guy? Beth knew Caleb, the dead guy, and admits that she is a member of a group that “explores fantasies.”
Malcolm and JT track down Nico, who can lead them to Jasper. (Malcolm chopped off Nico hand a few episodes back, remember him?) Nico sets up an introduction.
Malcolm may be in over his head but Simone finds the wire before things go too far. She admits to having sex with Caleb the night he died, but didn’t kill him. It turns out that David knew about Beth’s hobby and is now a suspect.
Jessica helps Malcolm get ready for his date, but his night terror starts invading his waking life. Malcolm ends up taking Eve to play pool with JT and his wife. Eve asks Malcolm to profile her, which leads him to go too far and he upsets her.
Dani found Jasper AKA Charles’ dead body. Charles built this fantasy life for Simone because he couldn’t be intimate with her due to his ALS. Beth killed Charles and Caleb.
Malcolm apologizes to Eve and they admit to each other that they are afraid and start making out. While asleep, Malcolm’s night terror returns, causing him to yield a knife in self-defense. Is Eve sure she can handle Malcolm?
Gil tells Jessica that the girl on the box was real she decides to find a way to ruin Martin’s life the way he destroyed her children’s lives. Honestly, I can’t wait to see what she does.
