As far as villains go, there are some pop culture bad guys that we just can’t seem to hate. We’ve seen Negan beat the life out of two of our favorite characters on The Walking Dead, Bucky Barnes (he’s totally not a villain) be at the center of a Civil War between The Avengers, and Frank Castle kill people on his mission of revenge as the Punisher. Even after seeing them at their ‘worst’, we still sort of love them.
So it comes as no surprise to us that some of you feel the same way, and with the newest ‘bad guy’ on the radar, we see another name being added to the list.
However, Hela is no ‘bad guy’. She’s an evil queen and she’s as fierce as they come. She also happens to be the first female villain in a Marvel film and she’s commanding everyone to kneel at her feet.

Cate Blanchett explains Hela perfectly and it only solidifies for us that she’ll be a villain that we just can’t totally hate. Even if she does cause a world of chaos for Thor.
‘I think the best villains are always the ones that you kind of love and hate what they do but you sort of understand it.’
Thor: Ragnarok is coming in strong with a newly…styled Thor facing his friend the Hulk in a battle, Asgard being transformed into Hela’s new vision, and it will likely show how the characters transition into Infinity War, so fans have a lot to take in. You’ll have to pay close attention to catch it all, but of all the trailers and focal points so far, Hela has staying power.
See Hela in Thor: Ragnarok hitting theaters on November 3rd.
