‘Pokémon Go’ Gets An Honest Trailer

Whether you love or hate the game, you have to admit that Pokémon Go fever has clearly taken over the world! The virtual reality video game has led to some great stories as well as some bizarre ones and everything in between and, now, the game has received the honest trailer treatment.
Smosh Games, the folks responsible for creating honest trailers, has put together a hilarious look at the truth behind Niantic’s Pokémon Go obsession or, as the honest trailer describes it, the “groundbreaking combination of mild cardio, Google Maps, and Paper Toss.”
The trailer sells the game by saying, “You’ll join fellow trainers across the world, out into the sun’s harsh rays, as you finally spend some time out of the house wondering aimlessly around the neighborhood with your head in your phone. Prepare yourself to be the very best, like no one ever was because they’re throwing out all of the stuff that made Pokémon interesting and keeping the part where you walk back and forth in the grass until something happens.”
Perhaps the most disturbing part of the honest trailer is the “grinding system” which grinds all of your unwanted Pokémon into candies which you “force feed to the Pokémon that you kept alive.” Never thought of it like that before!!
