Peter Cullen Receives Voice Acting Lifetime Achievement Award

Optimus Prime has not only obtained the Matrix of Leadership but has gone on to obtain a brand new achievement. Peter Cullen, who has voiced the Autobot leader since 1984, will be presented with a very prestigious award in the voice acting realm.
Cullen has been awarded with the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences.

Cullen’s work as Optimus Prime in the various animated shows and the Michael Bay movies has earned him the legendary status that he rightly deserves within the voice acting world.
His long and vast career has spanned 57 years in which he has voiced a myriad of brilliant characters:
Optimus Prime, Ironhide, The Predator, Eeyore and even K.A.R.R from Knight Rider.
Peter Cullen will collect his award during the 6th Annual Voice Arts Awards on Sunday, 17th November. The Voice Arts Awards is a global competition that celebrates all things media where the voice is the key component.
