At only 15 seconds long, the latest teaser for Pet Sematary manages to capture the creepy essence for one of Stephen King’s most iconic tales. Two decades have passed since the original big screen adaptation for Pet Sematary but it appears that some scares withstand the test of time.

“‘They don’t come back the same,’ or ‘Sometimes, dead is better,’ are classic quotes associated with the original film, so it’s great to see this remake bringing them back, and putting them to effective use.” – Source:

While this teaser is basically a compressed version of the first trailer, it does include a brief glimpse of  Zelda, spooky sister of lead character Rachel. Sometimes real life CAN crawl back to haunt us.

“In the 1989 film, the character was a cackling and demented ghoul played by a grown man (Andrew Hubatsek) In the new movie, directed by Starry Eyes filmmakers Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer decided the character should return to her original form in the King novel as a young girl, played now by then-13-year-old Alyssa Brooke Levine.” – Source: Entertainment Weekly

Movie remakes can be a challenge when it comes to meeting the expectations of its hardcore fans, but Pet Sematary appears to be up for the terrifying task. Constant Readers are ready to reen- Gage! 😉

“Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.” – Source:
