Just two months away. The clown responsible for many childhood nightmares will be back on the big screen and it seems his fright reaches far. Bojour Pennywise!
The July/August issue of French magazine Mad Movies is hitting shelves on July 10th, and the cover model for the new issue is none other than Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise from the upcoming re-adaptation of IT. It’s a similar shot to one we’ve already seen, but we figure those who cannot wait until September will want to check it out.
The issue will also include an exclusive sneak peek at the new movie. In this year’s IT, directed by Andy Muschietti…
A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
The kids in peril, the Losers’ Club, include Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Javier Botet will play The Leper, and Nicholas Hamilton plays Henry Bowers. The cast also includes Owen Teague, who plays bully Patrick Hocksetter. Bill Skarsgard is our new Pennywise.
The film will be in theaters September 8, 2017. Do you dare? Oui!
