The first time around, in 2009, Paul Blart: Mall Cop was a smash hit with comedy fans. Blart is Kevin James’ title character in this movie, a mall cop who took his work too seriously. Blart aspired to be a New Jersey State Police Officer but suffered from hypoglycemia during the main test and fainted, missing out on his dream.
Paul Blart went on to assume the life of a mall cop at the West Orange Pavillion Mall, where he kept customers safe and secure. The first film took us on our initial exploits with Paul Blart, while the second movie featured a fresh escapade in Las Vegas.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 delighted audiences; nevertheless, it’s doubtful whether or not more Paul Blart movies will be produced. However, James seems like a willing participant for another sequel. In a recent interview with ScreenRant, James didn’t hesitate to say that he’d love to come back.
”Yeah. Well, we’ve got to work that one out. I would love that. I don’t know what the story is yet. But it was so much fun shooting in Vegas. That was a great time.”
Although James isn’t sure what the tale will be yet, since Blart had romantic eyes for a mounted police officer in the previous film, there is space for development. Blart gets pushed into the side of a vehicle by her horse at the end of the movie.
Fans would enjoy seeing a third sequel continue right where the previous one left off, and new forms of mayhem may be produced with a pair of bungling rental-cops.
