Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren are officially back! According to Deadline, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be reprising their roles for the upcoming third installment of Annabelle. Wilson and Farmiga had both previously starred in The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, which were so successful that New Line decided to move forward with the Annabelle films. The untitled Annabelle 3 was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year with Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation’s Gary Dauberman writing and directing. The Conjuring director James Wan will serve as producer.
It was revealed at SDCC that Annabelle 3 would find the terrifying doll setting her eyes on Ed and Lorraine’s ten-year-old daughter. On top of that, the doll will also bring some of the other evil items the Warren’s possess to life – think a horror version of Night at the Museum.

And she really awakens the evil within that room and they target the Warrens’ 10-year-old daughter, Judy. So, that’s the set-up,” Dauberman said.[/row]
The first Annabelle movie was an unprecedented horror movie success bringing in $$257 million worldwide and granting it a sequel. The follow-up Annabelle: Creation managed to surpass its predecessor with over $306 million. So, while it’s not surprising that Annabelle 3 has been greenlit, it was the perfect news to kick off the con!
Annabelle 3 will be hitting theaters on July 3, 2019!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
