Patrick Stewart Sparked a Flurry of Speculation Saying He’s ‘on standby’ for Deadpool 3

While conversing with the site to hype up the final season of Star Trek: Picard, Stewart was asked whether or not he would be taking part in Deadpool 3, which we already know will star Hugh Jackman’s iconic Wolverine and mark his initial appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Stewart is no stranger to the Fox X-Men universe, having been regarded as Professor X for some time. He reprised his part in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness last year, though this version was swiftly wiped out by Scarlet Witch.
Although there is no guarantee, Stewart has been informed to remain “on standby” while Deadpool 3 goes through its production.
We should all be wondering how they will incorporate the events of Multiverse of Madness into this new film, but that pales in comparison to the excitement fans have surrounding Stewart’s potential return as his most iconic superhero. People would likely pay double for tickets just for an opportunity to view him on screen again!
