We’re just weeks away from New York Comic Con and that means some of the biggest names in television and film are gearing up to take on the big city. Fans travel from around the world to spend a weekend surrounded by all of the best parts of pop culture and some of the most anticipated moments are the NYCC panels.
One of the most highly anticipated panels at NYCC is The Walking Dead’s panel and this year, they’re bringing some of the biggest names to the big stage just two weeks before the season 8 premiere.
Season 8 is, by all means, one of the most talked about seasons so far, and it’s yet to air a single episode. The hype is certainly being built by every cast and crew interview and hearing their excitement for what’s to come is only making ours grow as well.
So we’re counting down the hours until the panel, and the actors and actresses set to attend only stand to sweeten the deal. Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Lennie James, Melissa McBride, Tom Payne, Katelyn Nacon, and Austin Amelio who will be joined by Scott Gimple, David Alpert, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero.
Not only will we get to hear a little bit more about season 8, we’ll get to hear about the lead up to the 100th episode and the groundwork for the next 100. There’s an element of the family on set and off that’s part of what makes the series what it is.
Here’s to an incredible panel in New York and an even better season 8, and if you’ve missed anything you want to relive before the panel – the season 8 trailer is below.
