Now The Internet Is Coming For Mark Ruffalo! Guess The Incredible Hulk Is Canceled!

Mark Ruffalo is canceled! We all know Mark Ruffalo, we all love him! He’s the Hulk, and he’s the best Hulk we’ve ever had. Arguably of course, that’s just one man’s opinion. Still, he seemed to have landed himself in some hot water on social media.

Mark Ruffalo is just one in a long line of celebrities to share their opinion on a hot topic. He posted a tweet about the Israel-Palestine conflict, and then deleted it and walked back what he said.

There was a wave of support when he mentioned the Israeli genocide of Palestinians. Many fans supported him for speaking out about a serious issue, but as these things tend to go, we couldn’t leave it alone.

For weeks Ruffalo has been standing firm in his view that being pro-Palestine is not equated with antisemitism. Now he’s moved to a more… middle ground. We’ll provide the new tweet below. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get ahold of the original tweet.

“I have reflected & wanted to apologize for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing “genocide”.” he writes, “It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful & is being used to justify antisemitism here & abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole.”

Now, his fans are pissed. Many have decided to speak out against him, disappointed that he backpedaled on what he originally said. Mark Ruffalo is canceled according to them, and boy, they’re going strong.

Regardless of where your opinion lands on this issue, this is certainly not surprising. This new cancel culture can hit anyone at any time. Whether or not it’s right or wrong is far above our paygrade. What we do know is that the internet is pissed.

It’s a shame Mark Ruffalo is taking so much heat. In these difficult times, it’s hard to separate the actor and their work from their political opinions. Whether or not we should is also something that’s far above our paygrade.

What we do know, is that we wish Mark Ruffalo the best, even if he is canceled. We can say that we really did enjoy his portrayal of the Hulk over the last several years. Here’s hoping the actor lands on his feet and that everything works out, whichever way things may fall.

We also don’t know whether Disney, the people making many of the films Ruffalo is in, asked him to take the tweet down.
