November: What Everyone Bought On PlayStation Store

0

The final month of Fall is through the books! November is the busiest buying month when it comes to gaming, but that is sheerly based on the final week of November which contains a special sales day known as Black Friday. This year was a bit different in that most of our big names were released beforehand in the first two months of the third quarter. That did not stop people from buying a huge mess of stuff though!

Here are your top purchases for PS4 and PSVR, specifically on PlayStation Store. If you would like to see a few other categories, check them out here on PlayStation Blog.

PlayStation 4

1. Red Dead Redemption 2

2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

3. Fallout 76

4. Battlefield V

5. FIFA 19

6. Spyro Reignited Trilogy

7. God of War

8. NBA 2K19

9. Marvel’s Spider-Man

10. The Last Of Us Remastered

I get the feeling nobody needed Spider-Man because it came with the PS4 they were all buying. (Photo credit to David Burdette)

Alright, so the top dogs are who we thought they were. Red Dead Redemption 2 has cleaned house since it launched. God Of War was on sale during Black Friday week, so it makes sense to be so high on the list. The only reason I can figure Marvel’s SpiderMan was not higher is one, it came with Black Friday PS4s, and two, it was not at as deep as discount as some of its counterparts. The Last Of Us Remastered is a surprise on here, while it was a sale item top ten is impressive.

PlayStation VR

1. Beat Saber

2. Creed: Rise to Glory

3. Job Simulator

4. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR

5. Doom VFR

6. Astro Bot Rescue Mission

7. Moss

8. Firewall Zero Hour

9. Superhot VR

10. PlayStation VR Worlds

Beat Saber is probably the best VR game I have ever played. (Photo credit to PlayStation Blog and Beat Games)

BEAT SABER! This game is incredible, and only released a few weeks into November. Job Simulator continues to assert VR dominance (not to mention it’s super fun). Skyrim can never die, and now I will wait for the inevitable Vita version. If you have not played regular Superhot you should definitely experience it in VR, and PlayStation VR Worlds is a surprise just because it has somewhat faded into the background of stronger VR titles.

Did your favorite game make the list? Are you surprised anything did not end up in the top ten? Tell us about that and maybe what you picked up in the comments!
