Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan Take on the USO Flex4Forces Challenge

The Walking Dead stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus spent a portion of their Fourth of July celebrations by helping to spread awareness for the USO’s Flex for Forces challenge.

The Flex for Forces challenge invites those wishing to participate to snap a selfie while showing off a mean muscle flex. Then, simply share that selfie on social media while encouraging others to do the same by tagging and challenging them in the post. After doing so, the USO asks that you donate at least $4 to their organization to help support the organization.

The official USO website describes the challenge with the following:

[row]Join us as a Force Behind the Forces℠ this patriotic season (May 1-July 4) by striking a bicep flex in support of our nation’s military, sharing it on social media and encouraging your friends to do the same. Participating is easy and demonstrates your appreciation and commitment to our nation’s service members and their families. Show our service members you support them and believe a strong America is a force for good in the world![/row]

Check out the introduction video which was posted ahead of last year’s challenge:

This year, Jeffrey Dean Morgan stepped up to the challenge when his Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles nominated him to participate. Morgan posted a flexing selfie with his son also getting in on the action. In his post, Morgan challenged his Walking Dead co-stars and friends Norman Reedus and Steven Ogg as well as Ever Carradine. Check out JDM’s post below:

Shortly after, Reedus responded with his own version of Flex for Forces complete with some artistic embellishments.  Check out Reedus’ response below:

Even Steven Ogg got in on the challenge posting his own muscular selfie as well as resharing the pictures previously posted by Morgan and Reedus.
