Nielsen Social Ratings: March 12, 2018 – March 18, 2018
New week, new Nielsen top 10!
In terms of unscripted movement, without the iHeartRadio Awards or The Bachelor, WWE Monday Night RAW took the number one spot, up from number five last week. WWE SmackDown! scored the number three spot earning 90,000 interactions. ABC’s American Idol came in at number six and number 10.
Meanwhile, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation also earned top 10 spots, the former coming at number seven while the latter landed in the number nine spot.
The top 10 saw one more scripted series this week as Grey’s Anatomy and Riverdale were joined by The Flash and This Is Us.
As a refresher: the Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook, Twitter, as well as the newly added Instagram metric to rank the top 10 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
