New ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3 Footage and Release Schedule Revealed

With Season 3 of The Mandalorian only days away from premiering on Disney Plus, a new TV spot has been unveiled that hints at upcoming story details and thrilling action scenes. Get ready for the exciting adventure ahead by watching the video below!

Din Djarin starts the clip by emphasizing the peril “out there,” which has been a recurring motif in season 3’s marketing campaign until now. We then witness some familiar footage of Din gripping a dust-covered Mandalorian helmet before transitioning to what appears like an explosive action sequence.

The Mandalorian in this scene seems to be an unfamiliar face. At first, the blue armor reminded me of Axe Woves but the pattern on his helmet was different from his paint job. What’s more intriguing is that he wears the symbol of Death Watch clan – could it be that he belongs to The Watch, Din’s origin? In any case, it will certainly be interesting to see how this new character plays out!

Lastly, as Din and Grogu board Greef Karga’s custom N-1 starfighter, the latter bids them a fond farewell. This is especially fascinating to me since it implies that Nevarro will play an integral part in this season of The Mandalorian. As depicted in the footage from other trailers, R5-D4 can be seen following Din around on the planet; he must have accompanied him there via his astromech port! Lastly, we see Grogu nestled comfortably inside one of the rear bubbles of the ship for their journey – a clear indication that extraordinary adventures await ahead! This leads me to believe this scene is from an early episode and that Din will be revisiting the planet later on with a droid in tow. Nevarro has been featured multiple times across both seasons, so I wouldn’t be surprised if its presence continued into season three as well.

In addition, although the image is out of focus, it appears that Greef’s companion is not C-3PO because they have different facial features. Consequently, I can conclusively state that the droid behind him isn’t C-3PO!

Ultimately, the clip culminates with some scenes that we have already seen of Grogu displaying his remarkable Force abilities – from summoning snacks to delightfully quenching his hunger!

The official Star Wars Facebook page (AUS/NZ) just unveiled a new poster with the exact dates for each episode’s airing. As expected, there are no surprises here—each installment will be released every week without any breaks. Check out the following poster to get all of your scheduling needs!
