Almost two months ago, news broke that Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage and Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan would be teaming up to star in an HBO original Film My Dinner with Hervé.
The film will tell the story of an unlikely friendship which evolves over one wild night in LA between a struggling journalist, Danny Tate (Dornan), and actor Hervé Villechaize (Dinklage), the world’s most famous gun-toting dwarf, resulting in life-changing consequences for both.
On Friday, HBO released a new photo from the film which shows Dornan and Dinklage dressed in the late 80s or early 90s clothing with Dornan sitting in a white car with a bright pink top. Dornan is looking quite dapper in a black suit with a red shirt and maroonish color tie while Dinklage is rocking a Hawaiian shirt and white pants.
Villechaize, who will be played by Peter Dinklage, is best known for his roles as Mr. Roarke’s assistant, Tattoo, on the TV series Fantasy Island and as the henchman Nick Nack in the 1974 James Bond film, The Man with the Golden Gun. The film, specifically the role of Tate, will be based on a story by Sacha Gervasi and Sean Macaulay with Gervasi also serving as the director of the film. Gervasi actually had conducted the last interview with Villechaize shortly before the actor committed suicide in 1993.
The film is still in production and does not yet have a release date. Check out the photo below of Dinklage and Dornan and get the first look at My Dinner With Hervé.
