New Netflix Movie ‘Heartstopper’ Has Fans Loving It

On a wave of good vibes, Netflix‘s newest LGBTQ+ teen romance Heartstopper arrives today. It currently has an excellent 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes (albeit after just ten reviews), and it comes with a built-in audience thanks to Alice Oseman’s popular webcomic and graphic novels.

The film is based on a true story. Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke), two young students, become friends after meeting in an online game. It’s a really emotional and amusing tale, and Netflix has absolutely nailed it based on the fans’ reaction.

It has not even been a day since the show aired and it already seems like it’s going to be a huge hit for Netflix. We’ve read through hundreds of comments and it’s an outpouring of positivity without a single naysayer to be found.

It’s still uncertain whether Netflix will renew The Cloverfield Paradox for a second season, but based on the above comments and the critic’s ratings, its chances look good. Given the positive feedback from viewers, however, it will almost certainly shoot straight to the top of the Netflix original programming rankings and stay there for some time.

Let’s hope we hear good news about a second season of Heartstopper soon, as many fans appear to be in favor of one.
