New Flash Poster Shows off Barry’s Updated Suit

We are so close to the Season 4 premier of The Flash, and The CW has finally unveiled Barry’s new suit.

It was hinted at in the Season 4 trailers that Cisco had spent his time while Barry was in the Speed Force redesigning the suit. And actually, we’ve seen this design before. In the episode “The Once and Future Flash,” Barry runs to 2024 to figure out Savitar’s identity, and his future self wears this very same suit. I didn’t think that we would be getting it this soon.

I really like the new design as we move toward a brighter red with more gold accents. It looks really slick.

The tagline on the poster is “Reborn. Recharged.” I can’t help but wonder in what way Barry has been recharged. The trailers show Barry being “reborn,” but he seems to be a different person. Also, how was he able to get out of the Speed Force without it collapsing? Or is the new threat to Central City so bad, the Speed Force had to let him go? Is he maybe being controlled by the Speed Force? It would explain all the electricity surging through his eyes.

So many questions, but luckily, we don’t have to wait for too much longer.

The Flash returns Tuesday, October 10, on The CW.
