The first episode of Lost in Space aired in 1965, and now we’re getting a brand new version of the sci-fi series.

Netflix released some brand new information about the upcoming series, including a trailer with an overview of human adaptation.

The film’s blurb is as follows:

The Robinson family, part of a highly trained mission to establish a new colony in space, is unexpectedly pulled off course forcing them to crash land on a lost planet. Lost in Space premieres 13 April, 2018.

Things go awry as you can guess, and the colonists get thrown off course, forcing them to make peace with new creatures and navigate the dangerous depths of space.

Netflix actually sent the pilot to NASA, who transmitted it to the International Space station last week for astronauts to watch.

Lost in Space will debut on Netflix on April 13th.
