Netflix Picks Up Animated Feature ‘White Fang’ From Sundance

In their first acquisition from the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Netflix has picked up the animated film White Fang, which they are slated to release on the streaming platform later this year.

Directed by Academy Award winner Alexandre Espigares, White Fang features an all-star voice cast of  Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, and Paul Giamatti and is based on the Jack London’s novel of the same name. Set during the Klondike Gold Rush of the 1890s, it tells the tale of a wolf-dog named White Fang who is ” torn between domestication and life in the wild.”

White Fang was written by Dominique Monfery, Philippe Lioret and Serge Frydmanand will be produced by Clément Calvet, Jérémie Fajner, Lilian Eche, Christel Henon, Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf.
