We are getting a closer look at one of Netflix’s newest series titled ‘Kingdom’, in which a king comes back to life in a new apocalyptic twist.
The second Korean series Netflix has made is directed by Kim Seong-hun, and takes place in the medieval Joseon period of Korea. A prince is sent on a mission to investigate a plague shrouded in mystery spreading across the country. The catch is that it’s a suicide mission.
When he gets to the kingdom, he discovers that zombies are the cause, which lends itself to a brand new type of zombie story that is sure to be thrilling.
Kingdom premieres on January 25, 2019.
