Fans of Netflix’s adult comedies like Bojack Horseman and Big Mouth have something to be excited about today. The streaming service has just ordered a new animated series from the team behind Brickleberry called Paradise P.D. about a small town police department whose employees are described as “…bad cops. Not bad like no-nonsense. Not bad like cool. Bad like sh—y. Paradise PD: They’re the worst responders.”
Paradise P.D. will feature the voices of Sarah Chalke (Scrubs, Rick & Morty), Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), Cedric Yarbrough (Speechless), Tom Kenny (Spongebob), Dave Herman (Bob’s Burgers), and Kyle Kinane (The Standups).
It has received a 10 episode order and helms from co-creators and executive producers Waco O’Guin and Roger Black. The series will be produced by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Bento Box Animation and is expected to premiere later this year.

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
