Netflix’s ‘House of Cards’ Announces its Final Season Premiere Date

Netflix’s House of Cards has just announced the premiere date of its upcoming sixth and final season.
The series, which first premiered on the streaming service giant back in 2013, will air its final season beginning on November 2, 2018.

House of Cards has experienced some shake-ups in the past few years after allegations against series lead Kevin Spacey forced the series to change directions. Spacey played the role of Frank Underwood, President of the United States. Claire Underwood (played by Robin Wright) has recently stepped into the Commander-in-Chief role after her husband Frank Underwood Spacey) stepped down from his command in the fifth season. The character shift came after Spacey left the series amid sexual assault allegations from several accusers. After the accusations were made, Spacey said he was seeking treatment.
The upcoming sixth season will be the last for House of Cards. The season will focus on Claire as the new President and, in addition to Wright, will also star Greg Kinnear, Diane Lane, Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott, Boris McGiver, and Cody Fern.
The executive producers for House of Cardsare Melissa James Gibson, Frank Pugliese, Robin Wright, David Fincher, Joshua Donen, Dana Brunetti, Eric Roth, Michael Dobbs and Andrew Davies.
