It’s the official date of the Wonder Woman film release and fans cannot contain their excitement. When the first reviews for the film started rolling in, the excitement only built further – they’ve all been great. It’s the DC movie we’ve needed, it’s powerful and strong, and Gal Gadot and Chris Pine have turned their characters into the type of people we should all strive to be.
Both Chris and Gal have talked about how incredible it is that Wonder Woman shows strong women and gives them the motivation to be the change they’d like to see. It’s no damsel in distress story in this movie, if anything, those roles are reversed. Diana is strong and powerful and confident and Steve doesn’t wish to save her, he actually hopes she can help him save the world. Talk about girl power.
While some lucky fans were able to see Wonder Woman last week, there have been screenings this week as well and one of those screenings got a treat unlike anything they could have imagined. Gal, Chris, and Patty Jenkins surprised fans at a screening in N.Y.C and the audience went absolutely wild once they realized what was happening.
Gal, Chris, and Patty Jenkins looked ecstatic to be there and got so excited, in fact, that they could have ruined the surprise. Check the video out below, you’ll wish you’d been in that audience.

‘We came back here to do some press and heard they were having a screening. We said ‘We’ve got to go.’ We just want to say hi to everyone.’
We know we’ve said it before, but it really does make all the difference when the actors in a film care as much for their characters as their fans do. We can’t wait to see Wonder Woman this weekend. When will you see the film, or did you make it to a screening? Let us know.
