My Comic Quest #1: ‘The Unworthy Thor’

People that know me personally saw that I had my own adventure waiting for me. I moved from Belgium to the U.K. so that I could do an internship that changed my life forever. The first thing that I thought about was how the hell I would read my comics in these months (as they didn’t ship to the U.K.). The answer was pretty simple.

I decided I’d just keep ordering. When I moved back, I had 50 comics waiting for me. There are still comics waiting on me as this month’s subscriptions already started to get released. The great plus with being a customer on is that I get free preview comics. So, 50 comics ended being 54 comics. Here is my quest to explore them all.

My Growing Comic Collection.

I will start with The Unworthy Thor. This comic series counts 5 pieces. The people who are heavily into comics already know that they are released. I happened to collect them all in the last 4 or 5 months.

As we are a spoiler free website, I’m not going to give away a lot. I’m going to show you the first page as a preview. If you are interested to see what happens next, you can buy it digitally on the website.

The storyline is in one word: amazing. I got to know things that I didn’t even know happened in the first place. I will tell you one thing about the storyline that did surprise me. The collector revealed himself in the second comic.

The story began very darkly and a feeling of Thor’s despair came over me. I could feel he lost everything and that he wasn’t worthy to lift the hammer anymore. I saw something that made me think they might be following the Ragnarok story. (See below)

I enjoyed every comic’s storyline, and also the amazing artwork. I was always surprised by detailed drawings.

I highly recommend The Unworthy Thor series. Go to if you are interested in reading too.

I have 49 more comics to go! Will you follow me in my quest?
