Morena Baccarin Looks Back to First ‘Deadpool’ Production
It seems like ages ago that Deadpool’s first trailer got leaked at SDCC. As a result of that moment, it brought the film to us in theatres in 2016. After the raging storm brought upon Fox by the Deadpool fans, 20th Century Fox greenlit the movie. Now we are two movies later, and we still can’t get enough of it!
It was a surprise that Vanessa Carlysle (Morena Baccarin) story would end up like it did in the first Deadpool film. You might know Vanessa from in the comic book world where she goes by the name Copycat, a former member of the X-Force that we only got a glimpse from in the second movie. Morena Baccarin took to Twitter today and shared her Throwback Thursday. Take a look below:
This was the last scene I shot on Deadpool 1. It never made the movie. But the director yelled one more take! And I got into position. My action was running out of that door and yelling “Wade!” When i got outside everyone was waiting and clapping. ❤️#tbt pic.twitter.com/tScM0Ztr8V

The scene initially had Vanessa (Morena Baccarin) running out calling for Wade. It’s good to see people appreciated for their hard work, even if the scene never made the movie! Isn’t this a lovely moment?
No one knows what’s in store for the future of Deadpool. At the end of the second film, Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) did go back in time to save Vanessa and his Sugar Bear Peter. Fox, however, has been bought by Disney and there is no knowing if they will greenlight a third instalment of the franchise. The fanbase already proved they could be loud, and it would be a smart decision to greenlight a third Deadpool movie.
What do you think the future holds for Vanessa and Wade? Let us know in the comments below.
