Just last week, I mentioned how the coverage concerning the “Snyder Cut” had reached new heights. Jason Momoa continued to rally behind it, Junkie XL confirmed that his soundtrack was complete and the VFX Supervisors confirmed that the special effects were almost complete.
Now, the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut fire continues to burn with great intensity.
The two biggest supports of the Snyder Cut, Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher, decided to give fans a little treat. Jason, who plays Aquaman, released a very cool image of a fight with Steppenwolf. In the image, Aquaman can be seen stabbing Steppenwolf with his quindent. Wonder Woman can be seen in the background ready for battle.

Shortly after, Ray Fisher also shared an image from the original cut. Instead of showing a still of an epic action sequence we actually got something very different. Originally, Cyborg’s past was going to play a big role in Justice League. We were going to see what Victor Stone’s life was like before his accident. This involved seeing his mother, his passion for sport and his internal struggle with his transformation. A while ago, Snyder shared an image of Cyborg at his mother’s grave.
From the looks of it, this scene was going to explore Victor’s life at Gotham City University. His mother, Elinore Stone, seems to be involved in this scene. My guess would be that Victor is in trouble and his mother has been summoned to speak with the Dean. From there, it looks as though Elinore destroys the Dean- I would assume figuratively.
As I have said many times, the hype and desire for the Snyder Cut won’t vanish until fans get it. Many of the actors and crew seem to want it and I truly believe it is only a matter of time. We may have to wait quite a while but with each tease and image released, the fire will continue to burn. So make sure you share and use the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.
The response to the Snyder Cut has been absolutely brilliant but we can’t stop now. DC and Superhero fans need to see this and I think it is safe to assume that fans will continue their pursuit for the Snyder Cut until they get it.
And rightly so.
