Moon Knight: Marvel Releases New Images of Oscar Isaac in Upcoming Disney+ Series

Next month, Moon Knight will debut on Disney+, and it appears to be something magnificent.

Moon Knight will be Marvel’s first show on Disney Plus to focus on a hero who is unlike anything seen in the MCU before. This is Oscar Isaac‘s tortured Marc Spector, a character with dissociative identity disorder and/or an ancient Egyptian deity that may or may not dwell inside his mind.

The debut trailer drew attention, with the Super Bowl spot confirming that it’s worth watching. Now, a new element in the April Empire Magazine reveals several fresh stills, which you can view below.

On the left, we see a frightening manifestation of the god Khonshu; in the upper right, two of Spector’s personalities are having a conversation with one another; on the lower left, we see Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow meeting our protagonist; and on the lower right, it appears that May Calamawy’s Layla on a dig of some kind.

It appears that Spector will attempt to comprehend his abilities, at least some of the time. Harrow, on the other hand, is most likely attempting to use him for personal gain, though the narrative will also explore Marvel’s Egyptology and add another pantheon to the ensemble in addition to the Asgardians and Olympians.

If the show can capture the comics’ style and offbeat nature, it will be a winner. Moon Knight now appears to be somewhat loosely affiliated with the MCU’s bigger story lines, but you don’t cast an actor as fantastic as Oscar Isaac without having future plans for him.

With that in mind, expect big things from Moon Knight when it premieres on March 30.
