Fans and peers flooded the “Back to the Future” star’s comment section. Julianne Moore wrote, “Oh my gosh!! So cute.”

Julianna Margulies added, “Omg! So sweet!” And Ali Wentworth added, “THIS IS CRAZY NUTS! What a gorgeous girl! Tell her Auntie Ali can’t wait to play…”

After the heartbreaking passing of his beloved pup, Gus, in April 2021, the star recently welcomed a new family addition.

“Gus – you were the best pup and faithful companion, we will cherish all our memories,” Fox penned on Instagram. As an avid animal lover, he was featured in a CBS special called “The Pet Project” last year talking about how much Gus meant to him.

“You know that no matter your situation, no matter what you feel, this animal is with you and is connected to you, and you feel,” Fox said. “It’s a force multiplier.

“Your instinct when you have a chronic illness is to sometimes isolate and make your world as small as possible so you don’t have much to deal with, but a dog will open you up.”

In 1991, the actor was told he had Parkinson’s disease. Five years later, in 1998, he revealed his diagnosis to the public.

After Fox underwent a 2018 surgery that removed an annoying tumor from his spinal cord, forcing him to relearn how to walk, Gus and Tracy Pollan became his most devoted supporters.

“He kind of circles the wheelchair with this low kind of ‘woof woof, woof woof’ and sat in front of the wheelchair right in front of me and looked at me, and I said, ‘It’s going to be OK,'” he said.

After an incredible 35 year marital journey, Fox and Pollan stepped out together to attend the prestigious 13th Governors Awards of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held in November.

In spite of the Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, Fox refused to let it stop him from doing what he loved; acting. He continued on until his proud retirement in 2020.
