Meet Aunt Hilda & Zelda in New ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ Clip
Sure, we’ve told you time and time again to expect Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to be sinisterly dark, but thanks to a new exclusive clip from the series you can catch a glimpse of the Spellman’s working with a bit of a lighter tone!
Here’s a little bit of background to help you understand what’s happening in the clip! The series is going to kick off just before Sabrina’s pivotal 16th birthday where she is expected to attend her Dark Baptism and sign her name in Satan’s book, pledging herself to the Dark Lord for eternity. Of course, doing so would mean she would have to say goodbye to everyone she loves in the mortal world and attend the Academy of the Unseen Arts – a prep school for witches and warlocks. Unfortunately for Sabrina, the day has approached much too quickly as she’s in the midst of starting a fierce female empowerment group at school and is definitely not ready to say goodbye to her boyfriend, Harvey.
Thus results in this clip, which finds Sabrina asking her aunts if she could casually postpone her Dark Baptism. It offers a perfect glimpse at the juxtaposition of personalities between Aunt Zelda (Miranda Otto), who is stern in her convictions to witch law, and Aunt Hilda (Lucy Davis), who is much more sympathetic and laid back when it comes to Sabrina. Check it out for yourself below!
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina also stars Chance Perdomo, Ross Lynch, Melissa Gomez, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Gavin Leatherwood, and Jaz Sinclair. The first season is dropping on Netflix next Friday, October 26th! To read our review head here.

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
