Hulk may not be done in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are countless stories that haven’t been explored for the big green guy and Mark Ruffalo, who portrays Hulk, has pointed to one story for a movie, ‘Hulk vs Wolverine.’
The Marvel star, Mark Ruffalo, appeared at Tokyo Comic-Con and revealed that he’s had recent conversations with Marvel president Kevin Feige about his future, saying, “Kevin Feige just asked me last week if I had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk,” Ruffalo said.
“And I said yeah, I think there’s still some stories to tell. And he said, ‘Well why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel universe?’”
“Hulk vs. Wolverine,” Ruffalo said. “I’d like to see that. Hulk vs. Wolverine.”
Would that include an introduction to the MCU and return to the screen for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine? That may be the biggest hurdle to overcome for the film to happen. Hugh Jackman may have already played Logan aka the Wolverine for the final time. A ‘Hulk vs Wolverine’ may have to introduce a new Wolverine to the MCU and it may be too soon for fans to accept another actor in the role, as Jackman has portrayed Wolverine since 2000.
What are your thoughts on a ‘Hulk vs Wolverine’ film? Would you like to see it happen? Would you like to see it happen if Jackman wasn’t attached?
